PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents No.3 to 7 to disburse the remaining payment of Rs.1,29,90,005/- towards the work done by the Petitioner in the year 2023 under M.Book Nos. 5717, 5718, 5781, 5798, 5799, 5801, 5802, 5803, 5804, 5805, 5806, 5827 and 5800 by considering the representation dated 11.04.2025.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents No.3 to 7 to disburse the remaining payment of Rs.1,29,90,005/- towards the work done by the Petitioner.

2. The Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that there is no dispute regarding the payment, as stated in the affidavit. He further stated that the proposal has already been forwarded from the Madurai Region to the Chief Engineer, Chennai, vide proceedings dated 25.02.2025.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is allowed. The respondents are directed to pay the remaining amount of Rs.1,29,90,005/- to the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
