PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.4 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who was arrested on 07.05.2024 for the offence under Section 7 of PC Act 1988 as amended in 2018 @ 7 and 12 r/w 7 of PC Act, 1988 as amended in 2018, in Crime No.4 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, being the Assistant Inspector of Labour, Virudhunagar District demanded a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- as bribe from the defacto complainant and has received a sum of Rs.75,000/- from him and he was caught red handed. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not commit any offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police strongly opposes for grant of bail to the petitioner that the investigation is yet to be completed.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 06/06/2024 / TRUE COPY / /06/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar ( C.S.
