Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to include the name of the petitioner in the panel year 2011 drawn for the post of Tahsildar and promote the petitioner as Deputy Collector by placing him in the appropriate place by following the order passed by this Honourable Court dated 11.01.2013 in W.P(MD) No.15956 of 2012 and give consequential service and monetary benefits.

ORDER
According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 18.03.2019 to the respondents to include his name in the panel year 2011 drawn for the post of Tahsildar and promote him as Deputy Collector by placing him in the appropriate place. As no order has been passed on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the aforesaid prayer. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in respect of the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent called for the combined seniority list of Deputy Tahsildars for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 vide communication dated 07.03.2019 in Lr.No.31102/gzp - 10(2)/2018-4. Thereafter, no action has been taken by the respondents. Further it is submitted that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner is satisfied if the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 18.03.2019, within the time frame to be fixed by this Court. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the particulars as sought by the first respondent have been produced by the third respondent vide the proceedings dated -03.2019 in Na.Ka.No.16285/2017/A2 and therefore, the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the first respondent and appropriate orders be passed. A copy of the proceedings dated -03.2019 in Na.Ka.No.16285/2017/A2 has been produced before the Court for perusal.
4.In view of the submissions made on either side and considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 18.03.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, WMP(MD)No.6732 of 2019 is closed.
