The petitioner's daughter, one Praveena, aged about 26 years found missing from the custody of her parents since 03.04.2023 and was later found to have eloped with the fourth respondent, Ramesh. Hence, the Petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition to produce the body or

person of his daughter, Praveena. This matter is under consideration of this Court for the past nine months.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that the girl was secured and FIR was registered in Crime No.198 of 2023 on 17.08.2023 and the fourth respondent was remanded to judicial custody. After completion of investigation, final report in FR-281 of 2023 was filed on 14.12.2023, which is yet to be taken on file by the Trial Court.

3. There is no representation for the petitioner for the second time consecutively. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
