Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 5 not to disturb the temple property which situated in S.No.85/2 in Mukkudal Village, Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District thereby, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
As rightly pointed out by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this issue has already been decided vide order dated 12.03.2024 in W.P(MD)No.5799 of 2024. It is reiterated that no construction will be put up in Survey No.85/2. The possession of the temple in respect of Survey No.85/2 shall not be disturbed. The authorities are however at liberty to put up construction in Survey No. 85/1.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that in the guise of putting up construction in Survey No.85/1, the respondents may extend their reach to Survey No.85/2.
3.The learned Government Advocate clarifies that such an event will not occur.
4.This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
