Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus or any other order or direction in the nature of the Writ, directing the Respondents to Survey the land in Survey No.97/17 to an extent of 37 cents Punja Land in Sirukoodalpatti Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District on the basis of the Petitioner's Representation dated 08.07.2016.

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to Survey the land in Survey No.97/17 to an extent of 37 cents Punja Land in Sirukoodalpatti Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District on the basis of the Petitioner's Representation dated 08.07.2016.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Needless to say that it is for the first respondent to consider the said representation after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2016 and pass orders after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
