The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction remove the encroachment from the water channel falling on the Survey Nos 9/2, 10/2, 11/2, 12/3, 30/2, 31/2, 34/2, 35/3, 38/2, 40/2, 40/4, 41/2, 250/2, 251/1A, 251/2, 251/3A, 252, 253/1B, 253/2, 253/3A, 254/1B, 254/2, 256/1, 257/1, 257/2B,259, 298/1, 300/2, 327/6, 330/2B, 334/1A, 628/2, 679, 680/2, 681/2, 683, 924/2,924/3, 925/2, 926/1A, 948, 949/1 and 950/1 which includes ponds, Tanks and Oorani within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 21.03.2017 after giving opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
