[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant thirty days ordinary leave, without escort, to the petitioner's son, namely, Selvendran.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that pending this writ petition, the Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Trichy Range, Trichy, has passed an order dated 08.06.2024, granting 21 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's son / convict and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the order dated 08.06.2024, passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Trichy Range, Trichy, before this Court.

3. Recording the above submission, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition and the same is, therefore, closed. No costs. [A.D.J.C., J.] [K.R.S., J.] 10.06.2024 NCC :
