O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant thirty days ordinary leave, without escort, to the petitioner's son, namely, Shanmugam, ENR No.684.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that originally the petitioner's son was confined in Vellore Central Prison and only for the purpose of pursuing his ITI course, he was transferred to the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli and therefore, the petitioner has to approach the authorities of the Central Prison, Vellore, for his relief and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the third respondent, dated 18.04.2024, before this Court.

3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities of the Central Prison, Vellore, for his relief. No costs.
