DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN., J AND R.POORNIMA.,J The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed seeking a direction to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in C.No. 34/Detention/CPO/T.C/2024, dated 24.4.2024 and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Vallarasu, son of Murugan, aged about 20 years, now confined as Sexual Offender at Trichy Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 states that the Habeas Corpus Petition become infructuous on the expiry of one year detention period. 4.Recording the same, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
