Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Thiru.Sricharan Rangarajan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Thiru.P.Mahendran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.The prayer made in the writ petition is for directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2020. The tender notification has been issued by the second respondent. The respondents 7 and 8 are the tender accepting authorities.

3.The petitioner's grievance is that his tender application is not being accepted by the authorities.

4.The learned Additional Advocate General makes a firm statement that the tender application can be submitted both online as well as offline. To get the application form in person, the petitioner may have to pay a sum of Rs.15,600/- as application fees. But it can be downloaded free from the website. It is further stated that the tender forms can be downloaded till 4.45 p.m. But the last date for submission is 29.09.2020. It appears that there is no impediment for the petitioner to submit his tender application. The petitioner is also not in a position to cite any special difficulty.

5.Therefore, permitting the petitioner to take part in the tender process to be held tomorrow ie., 29.09.2020, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
