ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. Though the prayer in the writ petition is for reconveyance of the acquired land, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was submitted that the petitioner subsequent to filing of the writ petition applied to the authorities for payment of compensation.

3. It is stated that the petitioner has right over 10 cents of land and that his entitlement is quantified at Rs.1,65,369/- + Rs.1,23,919/-. Whatever be the entitlement of the writ petitioner, the same shall be paid to the petitioner forthwith and without any further delay.
