Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.3, to extend the parole granted to the petitioner namely Saravanapandian, S/o. Lakshimanathevar, L.C.T.No.3847 for the period of 10 days by the way of consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2017. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2.By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for disposal.

3.This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to extend the parole granted to the petitioner namely Saravanapandian, S/o. Lakshimanathevar, L.C.T.No.3847 for the period of 10 days by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a representation to the third respondent seeking extension of parole and no order has been passed. 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this petition, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Madurai today itself and thereafter, has to give a representation seeking extension of time for parole. On receipt of such representation, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on or before 27.05.2017, after giving necessary opportunity to the petitioner to explain the reasons seeking extension.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
