PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Inspector of Police in the order of seniority as per the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Rc.No.168187/ Rect.II(1)/2015 dated 21.12.2017 and Rc.No.168187/Rect.II(1)/2016 dated 19.07.2018 including the protection of seniority in the post of Inspector of Police with all attendant and other benefits.
