Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.D.VENKATESH, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that earlier this Court by an order dated 05.08.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.8164 of 2020, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition to surrender before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks. According to the petitioner, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners were unable to appear before the Magistrate concerned with two sureties, within the stipulated time and hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

3. Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order dated 05.08.2020 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.8164 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
