ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 174 Cr.P.C., Sections 452, 354(A), 376 r/w 511, 306 r/w 34 and 212 of IPC., in Crime No.301 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) that the petitioner's apprehension of arrest was on the ground that in the above case it was alleged that the petitioner had given asylum and had given monetary help to one Rajesh / A1 in the above crime number. On the order of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kulachael, the above case was taken up for further investigation on 22.10.2018. During such investigation, it revealed that the petitioner and his wife Selvi had refused to give asylum to A1 and had not given any monetary help, which was confirmed by the witnesses. In view of the same, the petitioner's name was dropped from the above case and a report was filed by the investigating officer on 26.11.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), nothing survives in this petition. Hence, this petition is closed.
