Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the impugned rejection order passed by him in his proceedings in Rc.No.B1/9509/2019 dated 10.04.2019 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issue No Objection Certificate so as to enable the Petitioner to take part in the Recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector of Police 2019 and thereby the 1st respondent ought to be directed to allow the petitioner to take part in the recruitment process. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Gurunathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a submission that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and he also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.
