ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to construct a passenger shelter in the lands comprised in Survey Nos.797/15 and 797/16 classified as Government Poramboke situated at 2/6

Kumaripatti Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District and consequently forbearing the respondents from issuing assignment pattas in favour of any landless poor with respect to the aforesaid survey lands by considering the petitioner's representations dated 21.01.2020 and 14.08.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.With reference to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the subject land has not been assigned in favour of any other person.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the subject land has been earmarked for construction of a bus shelter. 4.May that as it be, it is for the authorities to take an appropriate administrative decision regarding the construction of a bus shelter by considering the needs of the people in that locality. 3/6

5.With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
