This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2016 and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law within a specified period fixed by this court. 2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.It is stated by the petitioner that even though she applied for counselling for MBBS/BDS Course in Government Medical Colleges and Government quota in Self-Finance Colleges for the academic year 2016-2017, she was not called for counselling, even though she was given a reference in AR.No.18625.

5.Therefore, without expressing any view about the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.10.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
