: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the dilapidated Bridge situated in 97th ward of Madurai Corporation and more particularly, in the entry point to the Amaithi Solai Nagar, Thirunagar, Madurai and reconstruct the same in a good manner.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that fund has been sanctioned for a sum of Rs.29.20 Lakhs and work order has been issued for the construction of a new bridge. On a query posed, it is submitted that the entire work is expected to be completed within a period of six months.

3. In such view of the matter, we direct the fourth respondent to complete the entire work of construction of the new bridge within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
