Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to grant permission for conducting prize distribution for highly scored students, Retirement felicitation and pattimantram on 04.06.2017 at about 06.30 p.m. to 12.00 p.m. with amplifier sound system in connection with the temple festival, namely, Arulmigu Thropathyamman Thirukovil at Paventhar Parathithasan Hall situated at North Car Street, Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting prize distribution to students and also for conducting pattimantram on 04.06.2017 at 06.30 p.m. to 12.00 p.m., by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 27.05.2017 and 28.05.2017, two representations have been given to the respondents, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the third respondent is strictly directed to consider the representations alleged to have been by the petitioner dated 27.05.2017 and 28.05.2017 and dispose of the same forthwith.
