5.The Head Master, Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned panel for promotion to the posts of Higher Secondary School Headmaster for the year 2022 issued by the 3rd Respondent Joint Director of School Education (Higher Secondary) dated 20.05.2022, and quash the same insofar as it excludes the Petitioner from the Panel, and further direct the Respondents to promote the Petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster by including in the above Panel for the year 2022 with all attendant benefits. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, challenging the impugned panel for promotion to the posts of Higher Secondary School Headmaster for the year 2022 issued by the 3rd Respondent Joint Director of School Education (Higher Secondary) dated 20.05.2022, insofar as it excludes the Petitioner from the Panel, and further direct the Respondents to promote the Petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster by including in the above Panel for the year 2022 with all attendant benefits. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, Ms.A.Amala, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that the Petitioner does not wish to press the Writ Petition and has circulated a letter in this connection. She had also made an endorsement to that effect in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition.

Mr.F.Deepak learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents states that he had no objection.

In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions stand closed. Interim Order, if any, stands vacated and the file is consigned to record.
