Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give permission to conduct the cultural Programs on 10.06.2017 to 12.06.2017 from 10.00 PM to 3.00 AM at the petitioner's temple Arulmigu Madurakaliamman Thiru Koil situated at Vanrangudi, Boodhalur Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Sivasubramanian.

For Respondent : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting cultural programmes in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 13.05.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 13.05.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
