Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to conduct an enquiry and to disburse the flood relief for a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- (Four lakhs) work order to the Petitioner enable to construct the fully damaged house in the heavy rain fall on 17.12.2023 to 19.12.2023 in the Thoothukudi District during the North East Monsoon, 2023. ORDER
On earlier occasion, the matter was listed under the caption for reporting compliance on 15.07.2025. However, the respondent had preferred an appeal in W.A.No.1893 of 2025 and the same was disposed of by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.07.2025, directing the District Collector, Thoothukudi to pass order allotting fund to construct house under the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam Scheme in favour of the petitioner without any delay.
