: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to interfere with the dayto-day affairs of the petitioner club namely "Youth Wing Social and Welfare Association" situated at No.12, Nirmal Electrical Back Side, Opp. to Shanthi Gate, Dindigul Road, Vadamadurai Post, Dindigul District and permit the petitioner to avail the facilities provided for playing rummy.

O R D E R
The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents not to interfere with the day-to-day affairs of the petitioner club namely "Youth Wing Social and Welfare Association" situated at No.12, Nirmal Electrical Back Side, Opp. to Shanthi Gate, Dindigul Road, Vadamadurai Post, Dindigul District and permit the petitioner to avail the facilities provided for playing rummy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that there is no club functioning in the said place.
3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner produced some photocopies showing a asbestos sheet wall with some people sitting around and playing cards.
4. On a mere perusal of the photocopies, it shocks the conscience of this Court that poor people are sitting around and playing cards. This Court cannot grant permission to such activities and it is always open to the police to take appropriate action, if such illegal activities are carried on, so that, the people in the poor strata of Society do not suffer.
5. In the result, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
