[Order of the Court was made by Hon'ble MR.N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.] The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to forbear the first to sixth respondents from either renewing the quarry licence or permitting Page No. 2 of 5

illegal quarrying of the land by the seventh respondent in any manner in violation of the terms and conditions of the Act, in respect of the land comprised in S.F.Nos.967, 967/1A, 968/1, 970, 970/1, 971, 972, 973, 974/C2, 977/1, 977/2, 978/2C, 991, 992/1, 993/6 and 994/4, situated at Vettaiyarpalayam, Nadanthai North Village, Aravakurichi Taluk, Karur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2018.

2. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after the filing of this Writ Petition, no quarry operations are taking place and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
