[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to fill up all the vacancies of medical officers, special surgeons, Nurses and other technicians and hospital workers in Tiruchendur Government Taluk hospital and also to provide CT Scan, MRI Scan, dialysis equipment and other necessary medical equipment and machines to the hospital.

2.Such a general prayer as such sought for cannot be granted. Administrative decision is to be taken by the Department for filling up of post.

3.The learned Government Pleader would submit that the actions are initiated and several posts have already been filled up. That apart, writ petition was filed in the year 2019 and six years lapsed. Thus, the relief as such sought for lost its relevance. 4.As per the statement given by the Medical Officer, Trichy, still vacant posts are available. The respondents are bound to fill up the posts for providing better medical services to the people of that locality. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
