Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission and to provide adequate protection for conducting Muthalamman Temple Festival from 09.06.2017 to 11.06.2017 at Thethampatti Village, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting festival from 09.06.2017 to 11.06.2017 in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has contended that there are certain rival groups in the Village and the second respondent is ready to conduct Peace Committee Meeting.

3.Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents and also considering the fact that a representation dated 18.05.2017 is pending on the file of the second respondent, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to convene a Peace Committee Meeting on the basis of representation dated 18.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits within a period of two days.
