PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.183 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 27.06.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa)and 4(1-A) of TNP Act in Crime No.183 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent police were engaged in prevention of prohibition offence on 27.06.2021 at about 6.00 a.m., near palm tree grove they found the petitioner in possession of 225 litres of Toddy. Hence the complaint.

CRL OP(MD). No.10245 of 2021 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 27.06.2021, hence he seek bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police opposed this petition on the ground that the investigation is not yet completed. He would further submit that 10 similar previous case is pending against the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration all the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that 10 similar previous case is pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
