O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to take necessary action to evict the respondents No.4 to 10 from the petitioners land in S.F.No. 21/1 to an extent of 1 acre 83 1/3 cents situated at Patteeswaram Revenue Village, Kumbakonam Page No. 2 of 5

Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the eviction order passed by the 1st respondent dated 13.05.2019 forthwith.

2. According to the petitioners, he made requests to the official respondents to take action based on the eviction order passed by the 1st respondent dated 13.05.2019, but no action was taken so far. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the eviction order dated 13.05.2019 passed by the 1st respondent is under consideration with the respondents no.1 to 3. They will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents no.4 to 10 inclined to pass order.

5. Recording the above said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the eviction order dated 13.05.2019 passed by the Page No. 3 of 5

1st respondent is pending with the respondents no.1 to 3, this Court directs the respondents no.1 to 3 to conduct enquiry upon the eviction order dated 13.05.2019 and take appropriate action, in accordance with law after affording opportunity to both the parties, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of this order.
