ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to repay the maturity amount of Rs.3,01,350/- as on 31.10.2005 with the subsequent accrued interest from 31.10.2005 till date of payment at the 2/6

interest rate of Rs.13.50% in respect of fixed deposit amount of Rs.1,50,000/- vide fixed deposit receipt No.181, maintained in the seventh respondent bank vide cash receipt Serial No.292, Certificate No.231, Ledger Book Page No.26 on the basis of the representation dated 06.04.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Though this petition has been filed seeking aforesaid prayer, the learned counsel for the petitioner has now submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass order thereon.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2019 on its own merits and pass orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
