PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from dumping any garbage of waste materials in the public crematorium belonging to the 4th respondent Village Panchayat and to remove the illegal and unauthorized structures put up in the public crematorium by the 3rd respondent for waste dumping. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from dumping any garbage of waste materials in the public crematorium belonging to the 4th respondent Village Panchayat and to remove the illegal and unauthorized structures put up in the public crematorium by the 3rd respondent for waste dumping.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the 3rd respondent is not dumping garbage on account of the interim order passed by this Court.

3.The interim order is in force for about six years. That being so, the 3rd respondent is directed not to dump any garbage or waste materials in the public crematorium belonging to the 4th respondent Village Panchayat. 4.With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
