For Respondent : Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.25 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 379 of I.P.C., and section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.25 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have illegally transported 20 bags of sand. Hence, a case has been registered.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. 4.It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) that the petitioner is having eight previous cases, out of which, five cases are similar in nature.

5.Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
