This Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors/respondents for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.11767 of 2019 dated 16.10.2019 and punish them under the Contempt of Court Act. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per the order of this Court dated 16.10.2019, the respondent police, after conducting the investigation, closed the case as 'Action Dropped' and the Action Dropped Report was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tirumangalam.
