O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai to expedite and complete the trial in S.T.C.No.4 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent Police has registered a case against the petitioner in Crime No.226 of 2019 on 19.06.2019 for the offences under Sections 8(c), r/w 20 (b) (ii) (A) of NDPS Act. After the investigation, the respondent police has filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai and the same has been taken on file in S.T.C.No.4 of 2022. He further submitted that the petitioner is not connected with the case. Due to pendency of this case, the petitioner is unable to get appropriate job. Hence, he seeks to dispose the case as early.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.11136 of 2022 4.Recording the submissions of the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai is hereby directed to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.4 of 2022, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
