ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second and third respondents to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his labourers based on his representation dated 28.10.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been granted permission by the Collector to take gravel from his patta land. However, the fourth and fifth respondents and their men belonging to Sethalagundu Village, prevented the petitioner from digging gravel from his patta land and thereby the petitioner sought for Police protection. further submit that the respondent Police conducted enquiry and that the third and fourth respondents and members of the said Village given an undertaken stating that they will not interfere with the activity of the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 would submit that enquiry has been conducted and it is found that the mining operation has been taken, in pursuant to the permission of the District Collector and the villagers have given an undertaken stating that they will not interfere with the activity of the petitioner. Hence, the petition has been closed.

4.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
