Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records related to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent dated 08.02.2023 Na.Ka.No.25378/2022/U(2) and the consequential proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 29.03.2023 in Na.Ka.No.2626/2022/A4 and quash the same and consequently, forbear the respondents 1 to 6 from interfering in the Civil Dispute between the petitioners and the private 7th respondent and thus render justice. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption "Extension of Time for Lower Court" and upon reading the earlier order dated 11.02.
2023 and perusing and the requisition submitted by the Subordinate Judge, Pattukkottai in D.No.1160/2024 dated 07.11.2024 seeking further three months time for disposal of the case in O.S.No.99/2023,this court made following order : "This Court, in the above Writ Petition, by an order, dated 11.05.2023, directed the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.99 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order.
2. Now, the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai, has submitted a letter, dated 07.11.2024, requesting for further time of three months to dispose of the suit, stating that certain interlocutory applications were filed, and, because of the pendency of the said interlocutory applications, the suit could not be taken up for final disposal. The learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai, further states that the suit is now posted for trial and, accordingly, has sought for further time of three months to dispose of the suit.
3. Considering the letter of the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukkottai, and the reasons stated therein, the time is extended by three months from today for disposing of the suit."
