ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to remove the untouchability wall constructed in the public street situated in new Survey No.1560/1 (old Survey No.689/1), W.Pudhupatti Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.The Revenue Tahsildar, Vathirayiruppu, has submitted written instructions to the learned Government Pleader stating that the compound wall has been constructed around Subramaniyar Primary School and that a case is pending in respect of the adjacent land case. Since there is likelihood of law and order problem in that locality, a survey will be conducted and appropriate action will be initiated.

3.In view of the above, the Tahsildar is directed to conduct a survey and initiate all appropriate actions in the manner known to law. 3/6

4.With these observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
