PETITIONERS/2nd & 3rd ACCUSED Vs THE STATE REP BY, THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE ALL WOMEN POLICE STATION, KARUR DISTRICT.
CRIME NO.12 OF 2019. ... RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to amend in para 4.The Petitioners counsel,on instructions, states that Petitioner's son/defacto complainant's husband will ensure that a sum of Rs.15,000/- as maintenance is remitted to the account of the defacto complainant on every month "instead of"4. The Petitioner's counsel, on instructions, states that they will ensure that a sum of Rs.15,000/- is remitted to the account of the defacto complainant on every month", made in the order copy in Crl.O.P(MD)No.19151 /2019 dated 19.12.2019.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.M.NATARAJAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Crimal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to amend the para No.4 of the order dated, 19.12.2019 passed in the said Crl.O.P.
2. On perusal of the records it is seen that while this court passing order in Crl.O.P(MD).No.19151 of 2019, dated 19.12.2019 has observed in para No.4 that the petitioners will ensure the payment of Rs.15,000/- as maintenance to the defacto complainant on every month.

CRL MP(MD) No.8227 of 2022
3. Now, the grievance of the petitioners is that only the first accused, who is the husband of the defacto complainant is liable to pay the said maintenance amount. Expect, the above said reason no other reason has been stated by the petitioners in the affidavit to modify the said order.
4. The petitioners being the parents of the first accused, they must ensure the maintenance to the defacto complainant. Hence, I do not find any merit in this petition and accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
