This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to take action to remove the encroachments made by the fifth respondent in survey number 56/7, Ganapathi Pillai Street, T.Kallupatti, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2018.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, produced a communication of the Village Administrative Officer, T.Kallupatti, Peraiyur Taluk, dated 12.10.2022, addressed to him and submitted that that the property in question is nothing but a private property and that

there is no encroachment as alleged by the petitioner. The said submission has not been stoutly refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
