Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petition mentioned documents has been kept as a pending documents since 1997. The matter was referred under Section 47A of Indian Stamps Act, 1899. The Special Deputy Collector (Stamps), Tirunelveli is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned proceedings on merits and in accordance of law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into merits of the matter and only direction that is now given to expedite the proceedings. 3.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
