O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 19.01.2026, wherein the petitioner has complained that her son has an eye ailment and the same is not being properly treated by the 3rd respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a report of the Medical Officer, Central Prison, Palayamkottai and the report is extracted hereunder: The above said prisoner was transferred from Perurani District Jail and was taken admission in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, on 12.02.2023. The above said prisoner use to come to central prison dispensary with complaints of minor ailments on and off and was treated as outpatient. And

he use to come to central prison dispensary OP with complaints of defective vision right eye. He was seen by ophthalmologist from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli, during a camp conducted on 26.01.2024 and prescribed glass for his refractive error.

4. Recording the above statement made in the medical report, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
