O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.VIJAYAKUMAR,J.) The present review application has been filed by the first respondent in the writ appeal in W.A(MD)No.226 of 2019 seeking to review the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court on 07.02.2020.

2. The first respondent herein had made an application for the post of Drawing Teacher and pleaded for considering his name under PSTM quota. His request was rejected on the ground that he has not produced any certificate to the said fact. Challenging the same, the first respondent preferred W.P(MD)No.21845 of 2018. The writ petition came to be dismissed on 04.12.2018. Challenging the same, the writ petitioner has preferred a writ appeal in W.A(MD)No.226 of 2019. 2/5

3. The co-ordinate bench of this Court referring to the similar order passed in W.A(MD)No.1146 of 2019 (Vadivukarasi Vs. The Member Secretary and others) dated 06.11.2019 proceeded to allow the writ appeal and directed the review applicant herein to consider the name of the writ appellant under PSTM quota for the post of Drawing Teacher. Seeking to review the said order, the present review application has been filed.

According to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the review applicant, another Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.404 of 2020 batch cases, dated 16.03.2020 had taken a different view that even for Drawing Teacher, PSTM certificate is mandatory. On the said ground, the present review application has been filed.

5. It is a trite law that the change in law is not a ground for entertaining a review application.

6. We have gone through the judgment of the Division Bench in W.A.Nos.404 of 2020 batch and we find that the order of the 3/5

co-ordinate bench in W.A(MD)No.1146 of 2019, dated 06.11.2019 has not been brought to the notice of the subsequent bench.

7. In such circumstances, we find there are no merits in the review application. Accordingly, the Review Application is dismissed. No costs.
