PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action for issuance of the insurance amount to the petitioner in respect of her lands in S.F.No.200, 184 and 199 measuring about 2.05 hectares situated in Panangadi Village, Nattarasankottai, Kalaiyarkoil Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the representation dated 08.09.2020.

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action for issuance of the insurance amount to the petitioner by considering the representation dated 08.09.2020. 2/5

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the respondents contended that the petitioner is not submitting the relevant records. It is not known whether the petitioner is carrying on any agricultural activities.

3. Therefore, this Court is of the considered opinion that the respondents shall visit the spot to ascertain the fact. After ascertaining the fact, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's claim and pass order in accordance to law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
