For Respondent : Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.73 of 2023 on the file of the respondent of Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 436 of IPC in Crime No.73 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 12.04.2023, the petitioner and his elder brother abused the defacto complainant in drunken mood. When the same was questioned by the defacto complainant, they threatened her. Due to such enmity, the petitioner and his elder brother had set fire to the defacto complainant's Palm Hut. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. It is reported that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on 04.05.2023 by the learned Session Judge, (Special Court under POCSO Act), Thanjavur in Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No.2737 of 2023 on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- before the Jurisdictional Magistrate and on further conditions. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
