ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondents 3 to 5.

2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the respondents 3 to 5 and thereby, he sent representation to the first and second respondents for police protection, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 2, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has sent his representation only through postal and he has not appeared.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the respondents 3 to 5, recording the submission of the second respondent that they received complaint only through postal and the petitioner has not appeared, directs the petitioner to appear before the second respondent on 23.05.2025 and thereafter, the second respondent shall conduct enquiry and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to both parties. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
