For Respondent : M/s.S.E.Veronica Vincent, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Cr.No.44 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as A1 & A3, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.44 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that earlier, this Court, by order dated 12.03.2020, in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.4481 of 2020, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners, wherein the petitioners were directed to appear before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court and execute sureties within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. CRL OP(MD). No.10700 of 2020 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that this second anticipatory bail is not maintainable, as the petitioners have already been granted anticipatory bail on 12.03.2020. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
