O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioners to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his land situated at Survey No.401/1B2 in Idayapatti, A.Kovilpatti Revenue Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District in furtherance of the judgement and decree dated 15.02.2023 passed by the learned District Munsif Court, Vaidpatti in O.S.No.26 of 2021 and on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.04.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner is the owner of the abovesaid land and there is a civil dispute pending Page No. 2 of 5

between the petitioner and third respondent, due to which, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.26 of 2021 before the learned District Munsif, Vaidpatti and the same was ordered in favour of the petitioner. However, the third respondent illegally trespassed into the abovesaid land. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation for police protection dated 27.04.2024 to the first respondent, but the same has not been considered. Hence, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under enquiry by the third respondent and they will conduct the enquiry and dispose of the same within 15 days.

4. Since the representation of the first petitioner is under consideration by the third respondent, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period 15 days from the date of this order after affording opportunity to both the parties in accordance with law. 5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
