Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action against the respondent No.3 and consequently give adequate police protection to conduct the Kudamulakku festival of the Sri Kaliamman temple situated at Rayappagoundanoor, Sembinatham, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District, scheduled on 08.06.2017 or on any other subsequent dates on considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Shankar Ganesh For Respondents : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohindeen for R1 & R2 Additional Government Pleader.
ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the Tahsildar, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District, conducted Peace Committee Meeting, but nobody participated and any orders could be passed only after the outcome of the Peace Committee Meeting between the petitioner party and the third respondent party. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent to move the Tahsildar, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District, for conducting Peace Committee Meeting for resolving the dispute expeditiously. The police shall implement the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting.
4. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
