ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(b), 408 and 409 of IPC in Crime No.Not Known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the enquiry officer had given complaint against the petitioner, who was working as a Clerk at A1579 Sivakasi Cooperative Whole Stores and three others for loss of Rs.9,45,248/- and Rs.4,79,329/- in the Society.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. It is reported that after the remission of the alleged loss to the Society, the surcharge proceedings have been dropped on 03.01.2018 and 27.07.2018 and the respective orders have also been annexed along with the petition.

5. Considering the facts that the surcharge proceedings have been dropped on 03.01.2018 and 27.07.2018, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
